Nashville Family Photography | Maternity Session — Long Hollow Gardens
A MATERNITY SESSION AT LONG HOLLOW GARDENS
I second shot Samantha and Graham's wedding with one of my good friends, so when they reached out about maternity photos, saying yes was easy. When they said they wanted to go back to Long Hollow Gardens — where they got married — I was thrilled.
Long Hollow Gardens is in Gallatin and it's genuinely one of a kind in the Nashville area. The property has rustic tall grass fields, a vineyard, a stunning greenhouse, and the Willis-Scott Cottage — an 1880s historic home with a European cottage feel that is beautifully maintained and photographs wonderfully. The tree-lined path outside it alone is worth the trip. Coming back to the place where you became a family to announce you're adding to it adds another layer to your photographs.
The light during their session was gorgeous, and Samantha and Graham are the kind of people you instantly like — this job introduces me to a lot of amazing humans, and they are absolutely two of them.
As a Nashville family photographer, the sessions I enjoy most are the ones with some history behind them. This one had plenty.
I'm really happy with how these turned out.
