A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting Liz at The Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Nashville and photographing their event spaces. The ballroom has fantastic views of the city and and all of it’s finishes are incredible! Unfortunately it was raining so I didn’t get to take photographs of their beautiful outdoor patio space. Venue Feature - The Bedford

A week ago I had the pleasure of touring The Bedford and while I was there I grabbed a few photos. If you want a venue with unique architecture, a large, covered outdoor space, and also includes luxury rentals, you should go check them out! Below is more information:

Earlier this week I was able to swing by The Westin in Nashville and have Jaqueline show me some of their event spaces! I was especially impressed by the amount of natural light they had in the lobby outside of the Vanderbilt Ballroom. Last Thursday Lisa at 21c Museum Hotel gave me a tour of their beautiful Nashville event spaces. If you are lover of art and modern design, this place is for you! Happy 4th - Styled Shoot with Elle Event Style

Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful time eating and lighting things on fire with your family and friends. I wanted to share this mini 4th of July inspired styled shoot that Leah from Elle Event Style and I did a few weeks ago at Arrington Vineyards. Leah did an incredible job with this design. I loved everything from the alternating patriotic placemats with the melamine plates that looked just like paper plates to the "Let Sparks Fly" sparkler favor and the best and only macarons that I will ever eat. Venue Feature – Bloomsbury Farms

Last year I travelled out of Nashville to visit Lauren at Bloomsbury Farms in Smyrna, TN. Bloomsbury Farms is a operating organic farm that also holds weddings and events on the property. I throughly enjoyed meeting Lauren and hearing all about what the farm does. I got to ride around the property on a 4 wheeler (my mother would have been scared for my life) and meet Tank the German Shepard and most of Lauren’s family including her adorable daughter. I fell in love with the property and the rustic pavilion. They offer several different locations for a wedding including one of their greenhouses. Venue Feature – Long Hollow Gardens

I was able to visit Amy at Long Hollow Gardens and Nursery. Long Hollow Gardens (20 minutes outside of Nashville, TN) is a garden and nursery center, but they also do weddings. They offer several different settings: a greenhouse that can accommodate up to 300 guests, a wildflower meadow, a barn, and an 1880’s Historic Home. All of this is on 35+ acres in the beautiful countryside of Gallatin, TN. The Greenhouse is stunning and offers a romantic outdoor feel no matter what the weather. I’m itching to get a bride and groom in here to photograph. Below is more information from their website!

Venue Feature - The Mitchell House

Last Friday I had the opportunity to drive out to Lebanon to see The Mitchell House and visit with Susan Tindill Solbrig of Decadent Details. It's pretty spectacular and my brain couldn't help but go crazy with all different wedding photo opportunities inside and outside of the house. Here is more information from their website.
"Constructed in 1906 and recently renovated, the Mitchell House entertains up to 150 guests for your indoor or outdoor wedding, reception, meetings, and other events with a warm atmosphere of hospitality. Guests are greeted by four columns that tower at the front of the majestic home. Upon entrance, the grand hall is an impressive sight with a grand stairway, consisting of two flights of steps coming together at one point. This magnificent expansive foyer can host sublime indoor affairs. The Ladies' Parlor is to the left, with hand-painted cloth above wood panels that is truly a masterpiece.
