Belle Meade Plantation 1 Year Old Session - Charlie

This blog should be called the many funny and adorable faces of Charlie. So many expressions from this child (that I think he gets from his mom) and as you know, I love funny kid faces. I know both of Charlie's parents from working with them in the wedding and event industry so when they asked me to photograph this cute little guy's 1 year portraits, I couldn't wait. Chicago Area Family Session - Aggie & Emmie

These two are the daughters of one of my dearest friends. We met while I was in high school when a friend of a friend recommended me to play drums for her and her husband's band. We played together for 4 years and have a lot of crazy stories to tell. We have the kind of friendship that no matter how long we are apart we start right back up where we left off. I miss her.

Last week I drove home from Nashville to the Chicago suburbs to visit my family and while I was there I had the opportunity to photograph her little girls. Sisters are seriously my favorite and these two have my heart. The last two photos are "outtake" images that made me cry-laugh while working a coffee shop! Family Farm Fall Session

This past fall I had the privilege of photographing a lovely family session on this family’s property outside of Nashville. The kids totally had my heart. They were the absolute cutest. The photo above was them showing me their monster impression. I love being able to take photos of kids being kids because honestly, is there anything better?

Family and Maternity Session at the Lake - Koska Family

So these lovely people were my neighbors up until several months ago when they up and decided to leave me and move to the beach.  The nerve. I had the opportunity to photograph their pre-baby #2 photographs a few weeks before she was born. Their impish first born is one of my favorite kids. She's so full of sweet sass. When I photograph family sessions, I prefer that kids act like kids and this soon to be big sister did just that. She had me cracking up the whole session. I hope you enjoy this combo family and maternity session. The bun in the oven in these photos is no longer in the oven and is now walking! Miss you guys!
