NASHVILLE NETWORKING RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHY AT MIDDLEMAN

Last month I photographed a corporate networking reception at Middleman in Nashville's Wedgewood Houston neighborhood. The reception was one event during a larger conference in town, and the company hosting it hired me as their Nashville corporate event photographer for just that evening. I'm often called by a sponsor at a conference to photograph a single event for them, not the whole conference. This company hosts these receptions in different cities, and they wanted images that show what it's like to attend one.

MIDDLEMAN NASHVILLE: A GLASS ATRIUM EVENT SPACE IN WEDGEWOOD HOUSTON

Middleman is a whiskey and cocktail bar set between its sister restaurants Momotaro and Alla Vita. It opened in June 2026 from Boka Restaurant Group, and its name and concept pay tribute to Tennessee's whiskey history. The bar is known for its Tennessee whiskey, its deep spirits list, and its signature cocktails.

This is a beautiful space. The ornate bar sits in the middle of the room under the glass atrium, which fills the space with soft natural light. The neutral colors let the bar, the food, and every detail stand out. Everything photographed beautifully here.

CATERING FROM MOMOTARO AND ALLA VITA

Both Momotaro and Alla Vita handled the food, from a sushi bar to passed plates to dessert. Having modern Japanese and Italian kitchens on either side of the bar gave the menu a lot of range. Passed plates also suit a networking event, since guests can eat while they talk instead of waiting in a buffet line. It all looked lovely, especially on the trays moving through that light.

WHY COMPANIES HIRE A PHOTOGRAPHER FOR NETWORKING EVENTS

The goal was photographs that show what a great experience these receptions are: the space, the food, the drinks, and the easy pace of the evening. Good Nashville corporate event photography gives a company images it can use to promote its next event, in invitations, on social media, and on its website. When someone is deciding whether to attend, those photographs show them exactly why it's worth taking time out of an already busy schedule.
