Nashville Corporate Event Photography | Advocacy Awards Ceremony at the Woolworth Theatre
AN ADVOCACY AWARDS DINNER AT THE WOOLWORTH THEATRE
After a full day of sales education at the JW Marriott Nashville, one of the largest wine and spirits companies in the world closed out their ambassador conference with a different kind of energy entirely. The advocacy dinner and awards ceremony celebrated the ambassadors driving results across the brand's portfolio, and the venue matched the occasion: the Woolworth Theatre, done up rockstar chic for the night.
HERO SHOTS THAT SELL THE NIGHT
The client's shot list included hero shots of the night's signature cocktails, so I arrived before the event started to work on those — framed for marketing use, before the room filled in around them.
Once the event started, my focus moved to the ambassadors themselves — toasts, laughter, dancing, group photos, anything that captured what it actually felt like to be in that room
MAKING PEOPLE WANT TO BE THERE
The goal of this kind of coverage isn't documentation for its own sake. It's persuasion. These photos need to make people want to earn the status that gets them invited to nights like this one. It's my job to entice them with the images.
That meant a mix of approaches. Before the awards program started, I worked the room for group photos. Once the program began, I shifted to candid coverage: toasts, reactions, the energy of people watching their peers get recognized.
The rockstar-chic theme gave the night a visual identity that made this easier. Bold lighting, a stage built for moments, and a crowd that leaned all the way into it. The room got an extra jolt of energy when the Moga Family Band took the stage — a live blues and soul outfit whose sound matched the rockstar-chic theme perfectly. Check them out here.
