A Homestead Manor Wedding – Sarah & John

Yesterday I posted images from Sarah & John’s engagement session. Sarah was my roommate for several years and I was fortunate enough to be asked to photograph their wedding. They decided to have a more intimate wedding at the beautiful and historic Homestead Manor in Thompson Station near Nashville, TN. Sarah and John wanted to have good wine and good food for their guests. They offered a wine tasting station, a pasta station, a charcuterie station, along with a few other stations (all done by Homestead Manor). They had to be called stations per Sarah because like she said “I’m a teacher. Everything is a station.” The wedding was relaxed and centered around those that are special to them. One of the most touching moments was when the ring bearer, one of Sarah’s former students, presented Sarah with a card that he painstakingly wrote for her. Friends and family participated in the decor, the cake, and the makeup. It was an absolutely wonderful day. Keep an eye out for the photograph of one of the best groom first look reactions ever.
