Nashville Corporate Event Photography | Assembly Food Hall Conference Buyout
I photograph corporate events at Assembly Food Hall and the Skydeck often, and I enjoy the challenge of covering both spaces during a single event. This conference evening was a full venue buyout, with guests moving between dining, hands-on activations, and rooftop entertainment throughout the night.
With multiple restaurants and bars open simultaneously, attendees had the freedom to explore a wide variety of food options without the constraints of a traditional plated event. A make-your-own guitar pick station offered guests a Nashville-inspired souvenir to take home, while a photo booth with a drum kit and guitars provided a backdrop for unique guest photos. Guests could also visit the guitar bar, where they could choose a guitar and listen to themselves through headphones. Live music performances throughout the hall provided additional photography opportunities, allowing me to capture both the energy and variety of the evening for corporate teams, marketing departments, and brands, while also documenting guest engagement for planners and DMCs.
The experience extended upward to the Skydeck, where guests rotated through a virtual reality station, played on a Guitar Hero arcade game, and enjoyed dueling piano performers on a large stage who took live song requests. The expansive rooftop allowed multiple activities to run simultaneously while giving guests plenty of space to explore and enjoy the evening.
Covering an event like this requires balancing wide shots that establish scale with tighter images that capture guest interaction, activations, and brand details across multiple levels. For planners and DMCs, this ensures all key moments are documented; for corporate teams, marketing departments, and brands, it provides high-quality images that tell the story of the event and highlight brand engagement.
Handling a large-scale conference reception or evening event with multiple activations requires patience and a discerning eye. I know what planners, DMCs, corporate teams, marketing departments, and brands are looking for, and I focus on capturing both the overall scale of the event and the key moments that tell its story.
