I've been documenting people since 2009 — and honestly I cannot think of a better job for my people pleasing tendencies.Weddings that made me ugly cry behind the camera. Corporate events for Fortune 500 companies. B'nai Mitzvahs where I've watched kids grow up in real time. Families who keep coming back because their kids won't stop getting bigger.
The venues, the lighting, the gear — none of that is what I'm actually here for. It's the people. Documenting who someone is, how a family feels together, what a room looks like when everyone in it is genuinely happy. That's the job and I never get tired of it.
I'm practical, a little feisty, and I will make sure you feel comfortable in front of my camera. Mostly because you being uncomfortable makes me uncomfortable.

Do you want beautiful family photos? Erin is fantastic! I’m talking a toddler- whisperer! She’s empathetic, funny, and knows how to capture the essence of each family. I was grateful for her eye for detail. Erin shot our family in total meltdown mode in a field at sunset (the whole thing looked like a comedy scene 😂) and the photos had us looking our best!! I was shocked. She made sure to catch shirt wrinkles, fix bad angles, get my child’s attention, and create silly moments that made my feral children look like angels. I’m so grateful to her for capturing each life-stage’s quirks and sweet moments to create beautiful memories. Her pricing is great too. Highly recommend Erin!
A few things worth knowing
I communicate obsessively and I'm never hard to reach. I've photographed for Amazon, Forrester, Dairy Queen and the Country Music Hall of Fame — among many others. I've photographed siblings at their own Mitzvahs after first meeting them at their brother or sister's. I found my husband on Match.com and I have zero regrets.
I value honesty a lot — it helps that I'm a horrible liar and have an enormous guilty conscience. My desire to make anyone around me comfortable and happy outweighs just about everything else. But comfortable doesn't mean complacent. I'm from the Midwest, I'm honest to a fault, and I will always tell you what I actually think. No two people or events are the same. That's what keeps this interesting after all these years.
